About Melissa
As the granddaughter of a Korean War Veteran, Melissa was born into the business of serving others. She has been heavily involved in community service and has worked for each branch of our government. Stanley understands the political system at all levels and she is prepared to work with them to efficiently represent the people of Miami and Darke Counties. She has experience working with both parties, and she has proven her effectiveness as a bi-partisan. Stanley is committed to solving problems and crossing party lines.
Stanley best represents this district and understands the wants and needs of the people that live in it. She explained the situation her grandmother has experienced as she was forced to choose between filling the cabinets with food and filling her prescriptions. Stanley explained that her parents spent most of their retirement money sending their children to college and they now worry about healthcare. She explained that her brother is working to pay off credit cards and she too worries about college debt. Melissa worked her way through college at a local factory where she experienced the hardships this district truly faces. We need Stanley to fight to strengthen our communities, bring better jobs, and improve our schools.
